As part of your Nutritional/Naturopathic work-up, there may be a requirement for a range of diagnostic tests to determine your current health status.

As part of your first consultation, a number of non-invasive tests will be undertaken which may include blood pressure, body mass index, hip-waist ratio, urine analysis, blood glucose, cholesterol, range of joint movement, zinc tally, etc.

Where appropriate, you may be referred for blood analysis and/or functional pathology testing through Healthscope Pathology. Further testing may be considered appropriate through Nutritional Laboratory Services. Click on the images opposite for more information.

Nutritional/Naturopathic clients should bring along to their first visit any results from recent blood tests or diagnostic procedures to assist in your assessment and to avoid unnecessary further testing.

For clients seeking dietary advice, a 10-day food diary will be provided to assist in analysis of dietary consumption and composition.

Diagnostic testing forms part of a holistic and evidence-based assessment of your current health status towards formulating treatment approaches in consultation with your other treating specialists as appropriate.
